1948 King Scorebooks. Kawakami HOF Fujimura (HOF) Oshita (HOF) Sugiyama & cards

Description

Extremely interesting and rare find. From 1948 (or possibly 1950...In 1949  Oshita`s team was owned by Kyuei and for his the team is Toukyu so this is 1948 or 1950) King publishing put out 4 lovely scorecards with illustrations of 4 all starts. Inside the books the pages are either blank or have scorecards ready to be filled in.
The 4 players are
Hiroshi Oshita (HOF)
Satoshi Sugiyama
Tetsuharu Kawakami (HOF)
Fumio Fujimura (HOF)
Oshita, Fujimura and Sugiyama are in excellent condition (age staining in the back keeps them from nr mint while the Kawakami is good (ding on the front a small chunk is lost on the lower left side)
These scorebooks are another illustration of beautiful Japanese sports art

Not directly related to this item, Japan has recently restarted EMS shipments to the US after about 1 year of it being halted. Finally! Sadly EMS prices have tripled (for now)
and that is reflected in the shipping price.  I expect the price to come down over the next year. Also shipments might take more time than previously.
