Antique map of Portugal ( 1813 )
. This is a very rare, partially colored, detailed map. It shows Portugal and the surrounding area. Map shows how it was divided into provinces. It shows towns, ports, bays, and topographical details as they were at the time.
The
map is finished off with a multiple scales conversion chart and a large title cartouche. Map size is 30 X 22 1/4.

t of the K. Kapp Collection. We have RECENTLY purchased several thousand maps, historical documents and pictures from the famed Kit Kapp . He was a very famous map collector, author, and cartographer. He collected very rare maps, artwork, and articles only found in books anymore. Many of these maps were priced by Kapp himself prior to 2009. In most cases we will start the price at or lower than his prices with a buy it now option. These are priced for what they are a priceless antique collectible piece of history. It is valued at just over 0 and we are selling it for less due to minor imperfections. However these are beautiful maps for their age. All these maps will be for sale within the next few months.
We guarantee their authenticity from the Kapp collection. A few has his initials ks or ksk on them. We are not experts on maps, that's why they were purchased from an expert. We do our best with pictures to show you the condition of each one. Again please review the pictures provided before purchasing.
Each map will be shipped in a tube  priority mail and insured through the post office .
We have had one negative feedback in 21 years on ebay. a disgruntled customer said his map was damaged on the edges in shipping, though it was well  marked fragile and do not bend. he could have returned the map for a full refund. The  map was an old map of Carmel, California. He wanted to keep the map, but  asked for a deep discount due to the damage "on the edge". we said no. it must have been a good value because he kept the map anyhow, but left my first negative feedback in 21 years. Obviously the map  wasn't the problem.
