Antique map of Ottoman Empire in Europe ( 1841 ) by G. Cruchley
. This is a very rare, detailed, partially colored map as most of the time were black and white. This map shows the Ottoman Empire in Europe. Its show how the area was at the time. It shows from Serbia to Greece as well as the Balkan Peninsula and Ionian Islands and more. The famous Transylvania is shown as well as Italy, Asia Minor, Austria and Hungary. The Black Sea and the Adriatic Sea, otherwise known as the Gulf of Venice surrounds this portion of the empire  on 3 sides. The Ottoman Empire in Europe started its decline in 1918-1920 and officially ended 1922 when the title of Ottoman Sultan was eliminated.
This map has many towns, ports and bays as well as topographical details.
The
map is finished off with a miles scale and a large black title cartouche. Map
size is 18 1/2 x 14 3/4.
