Wonderful Estate Signed Willam RUSER Narcissus 14K Figural MIRROR, Designer

Fully signed for RUSER, and 14K, this vintage hand mirror, executed in 14K gold is absolutely charming!  This mirror is an estate find in Santa Barbara and is in excellent condition.
Measures in at 36.1 grams, 3 1/2"  (with the original mirror) and has been personalized on the reverse, for "Huguette" along with another initial. I assume this was likely the property of Huguette Clark, a famous reclusive heiress who lived in Santa Barbara for many years.  I cannot prove this, but this is my belief based upon the rarity of the name Huguette and the fact that Ms. Clark lived in the area.
This mirror is a rare item from William Ruser, and was certainly not an 'everyday line item' -- perhaps a very limited run or a special order?  Either way, it is charming.  Highly detailed, we can see Ruser's artistry as the child peers into the mirror, perhaps mesmerized at his reflection!  A whimsical and novel jewel, and with the hint of a prestigeous past ownership.
